Nawid joined Holtzbrinck Ventures in 2016 and combines a wealth of operational experience with a strong international network of entrepreneurs. Prior to joining HV, Nawid worked on his own startup, a web-based platform that enables friends to help each other through trust-based recommendations; he led marketing and business development teams at tech startups in San Francisco, SÌ£o Paulo, New Delhi, and South Africa; and he was part of the initial global expansion team at Rocket Internet. Nawid started out his career as brand builder at Procter & Gamble, leading the development of new product launches and the design of global blockbuster marketing campaigns in the male grooming category. Nawid holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in General Management and Business Information Systems from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.
