Nancy Fechnay is an accomplished founder, investor and mentor. Passionate about unleashing one’s true potential through the power of positive thinking, Nancy’s latest venture, The Inspire Movement, is gaining global attention. The Inspire Movement brings people together to share impactful stories of overcoming life’s greatest challenges to address the overwhelming problem of mental health in the 21st century. With her varied background in venture capital (Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, Flight VC, and GE Ventures) Nancy has a deep understanding of the investment cycle, the key attributes for success and the pressures put on both entrepreneurs and corporates in the new digital era. She regularly speaks at events and advises companies on how to keep adapting and growing through fast-paced change. As well as her focus on growing The Inspire Movement community, Nancy currently serves as the UK Partner of Flight Ventures (the brainchild of Gil Penchina) and sits on the board of London based wellness startup, Fiternity, and social impact crowdfunding platform, UpEffect. Nancy invests across the tech sector, but is most interested in working with companies that have the potential to positively impact the world. Nancy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering (UVa), an MBA focused on entrepreneurship (Duke), and an MEM focused on energy (Duke).
