Linus joined Wellington Partners in 2014, as an Associate with the Digital Media and Software team. His primary role is identifying investment opportunities and building relationships with the great entrepreneurs behind these companies. Starting his career at Swedbank, he initially worked in sales, before joining the Swedish private equity and venture capital association in Stockholm. The two years spent there were his first experience in the VC industry and led to an opportunity at Almi Invest. At Almi, Linus focused on early-stage companies and led Almi’s investment in 5 startups and 3 additional portfolio companies. Linus spent 2.5 years at Almi before joining Wellington Partners in London. In addition to building a career in Venture Capital, Linus also founded TF Strategies, a Stockholm based consulting firm focusing on trend intelligence, market and external environment analysis, strategic direction, deal sourcing, screening and business analysis. Linus holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Stockholm University School of Business and spent a semester in Macau/China (2007), as well as in Perth/Australia (2002).
