Erik Aeyelts Averink works at Newion since April 2011. He joined Gilde IT fund in 1993, where he was as investment manager, director and partner leading 15 investments in Europe, Israel and the US. He was in the Non-Executive Board of several IT companies. In 2004 he joined SDL Tridion, one of the leading global Web Content Management software companies. He was as member of the executive board part of the team that executed the acquisition by the UK company SDL in May of 2007. In 2009 Erik left SDL Tridion and acted as Business Angel and advisor to several early stage and later stage companies, before joining Newion. Erik studied Economics at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
