The aviation industry is expected to double over the coming 20 years (IATA). Air travel is projected to grow on average with 5% per year, amongst other things driven by a growing middle class in emerging countries. The Mainport Innovation Fund (MIF) is convinced that innovation is crucial in achieving sustainable and safe aviation.
