Nick Kalliagkopoulos joined Prime Ventures as an Associate in 2015.
Before joining Prime, Nick worked at the Randstad Innovation Fund, the corporate venture capital fund of the Randstad Group, investing in early stage companies active in shaping the world of work.
Nick started his career as an investment analyst at Dutch Expansion Capital (DEC) a venture capital firm investing in high tech companies. While at Dutch Expansion Capital, Nick worked on several seed and early stage investments and was part of the team that founded Startupbootcamp HighTechXL, an accelerator program for global high tech startups.
Prior to Dutch Expansion Capital he completed an internship at the Financial Advisory services of Ernst&Young.
Nick holds an MSc degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics from one of the top Technical Universities of Greece and an MSc in Finance and Investments (cum laude) from Rotterdam School of Management.
Nick has been involved in Prime's investment in ZappiStore.
Pieter Welten is a Principal who joined Prime Ventures in 2013.
Before joining Prime, Pieter worked at LSG Holdings, a corporate finance and private equity boutique based in London. Pieter was involved in the acquisition of several industrial companies in the UK, as well as the company's fund raising process.
While at LSG, Pieter worked on several early stage and growth capital investments in technology based companies such as Zeebox, Secretsales.com and Corephotonics. Prior to LSG, he interned at Commerzbank and Ernst & Young.
During his time at LSG, Pieter co-founded a mobile social startup which is still run by a team in London.
An avid field hockey player, Pieter was part of the Dutch national field hockey youth team, playing in the European and worldchampionships.
Pieter holds an MA degree in Tax Law from Utrecht University, as well as an MSc degree in International Business from London Metropolitan University.
Pieter was engaged in many of Prime's investments and more specifically in Bright Computing, Dealerdirect, Digital Origin, Falcon Social, Forecare, iwoca and SlimPay.
Sake Bosch is a founder and Managing Partner of Prime Ventures. Sake brings over 25 years of experience in marketing and sales and venture capital to Prime.
Prior to founding Prime in 1999, Sake was a senior principal at Holland Venture and was responsible for managing investments in technology companies. He was involved in many of the Holland Venture technology investments including Applicare Medical Imaging (acquired by GE Medical Systems), BWise (acquired by Nasdaq), SQL Systems (acquired by Datastream) and Freecom (acquired by Mitsubishi Kagaku Media).
Before joining Holland Venture in 1994, Sake worked as an independent corporate finance consultant focusing primarily on early stage companies. Prior to this position he was a sales executive at Securitas Group. He started his career in 1989 as a strategic market analyst at VNU.
Sake holds an MSc degree in Business Administration as well as a BA degree in management science and industrial engineering.
He serves on the board of directors of Civolution, 4C, Dealerdirect, Digital Origin, Greetz,Forcare, MarkaVIP, SaaSPlaza, SlimPay, Service2Media, and Takeaway.com.
